Sniffer - A simple serial port sniffing/terminal program

Description:
Sniffer was created from the need to decode serial data streams used by Broadcast and AV equipment. Much of this equipment is programmed using RS232 or RS422 codes and the protocols are not always well published. Hence the need to "sniff" and decode them. Sniffer has the ability to send both ASCII and Hex data either seperately or mixed in the same string. RTS and DTR can be individually set as well as monitoring the status of the remaining data lines. It also supports capturing the stream to file for later analysis.

This program was developed for my own needs so it may not suit your requirements.

It is currently available for LInux and Windows only (I don't have a Mac.....yet!).
